Head of Human Resource

Juliet D. Kakoma joined Finance Trust Bank as Head of Human Resource in 2025. Juliet is a passionate and experienced Senior Human Resource Professional, a Certified Life Coach, Certified Christian Mentor, Trainer, Speaker, and Advocate for persons with Disabilities.

With over 20 years professional experience, her expertise encompasses strategic leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen, talent development, learning and development, mentoring, coaching, performance management, recruitment, employee engagement, change management and conflict management to mention but a few. These diverse skills have enabled her to creatively develop and design people driven solutions that speak to the various organizational needs.

Prior to working with Finance Trust Bank, Juliet was the Human Resource Manager at Vivo Energy Uganda (Shell). Prior to that she held multiple Human Resource leadership roles in Unilever Uganda Limited, Solid Rock Life & Business, CNOOC (Chinese National Offshore Oil Corporation), ABSA Bank Uganda, Equity Bank Uganda, GOAL Uganda to mention but a few.

Juliet holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from ISBAT University – Uganda, a Mini MBA in Oil and Gas (The Management Centre, UK), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Social Sciences from Makerere University, and a CIPD HR Certification (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development).
